Knobs for these Potentiameters?

I just ordered these pots on eBay, but I see no specification on the shaft diameter.

I looked on many similar listings but can only find the shaft length is close to 15mm.

Is there a standard shaft size from the look of the picture that I can be safe with getting knobs for ?

Pretty much yes, the shaft is 1/4inch diameter, or 6mm.

But are those still equivalent for a knurled "press-on" knob? I've had ones where you had to pound them on, bending the shaft's prongs, which I guess was a 6mm trying to go on a quarter inch shaft.

Fluted shaft is typically 6mm, though there are some 5mm and 4mm, but the back is always different to the ones on eBay. Those are always 6mm. old ones from 1960 will be non fluted and 1/4inch, fixed with a set screw or a collet.

Eh, a 6 mm knob won't fit on a 1/4 in (=6.35 mm) axle. Okay, the other way around it does (but it wobbles), and only if it has a fixing screw (not push on or collet).

Chinese 1/4 is 6mm, they round diameters down to cut cost.
