Pin 1 of AMPMODU II
(1/2) > >>

Hi,
A bit of a silly question but I looked at all datasheets I could find of TE AMPMODU II connector and none seem to specify Pin 1 and neither does the 3D module nor in the mating physical part which I have. That is strange given that it is a polarised connector. It is not that important but I like to keep everything as standard as possible.

With reference to the attached picture which would be pin 1? Most likely  B or D, but which one?
Thank you :)

What's the part number?

The part drawings usually have pin 1 marked, like for example this:

Thank you HwAoRrDk,

I just noticed I initially wrote AMPMODU instead of AMPMODU II. The part number is AMPMODU II - 280384-2.

Your screenshot does not look like the AMPMODU II series (it doesn't seem to have the side walls). Is that perhaps some other AMPMODU series?

Thank you
HwAoRrDk:
That was just a random AMPMODU part, because I know I had seen pin 1 notes on drawings for that series before.

But it's curious that the drawing for that specific part doesn't have it.

I suppose you'll just have to go on how other similar parts are numbered.

I've seen cases like this where there is no answer, it's up to the engineer.

However, it seems like there is an answer for this product. The "mating connector" 280365's drawing shows "pin 1" labeled on one corner.

The answer is D?
