Pinout of a Dell D750E-S6 server psu
« on: July 14, 2019, 03:36:45 pm »
Hello all,

can someone help me with the pinout if a Dell D750E-S6 server PSU? The part no. on the PCB is DPS-750AP-15.
The connector of the PSU is a PCB connector, with what looks like 2 big ground connections, 2 big connections for VCC and a 24 pin connector for control.

Hello, and thanks for the suggestion.
No unfortunately that one doesn't match - it has only 16 pins on the auxiliary connector and not 24.

If anybody still cares, the PSU shares pinout with the DS750PED PSU from ARTESYN.
Please see attached DS: https://www.artesyn.com/assets/ds750ped_ds_7db9fb58cc.pdf

For the lazy people:
S13 - PS_ON_L
S14 - PS_KILL_L
should both be connected to GND (S6, S10, S16, S18, S20, S22 or S24) for the PSU to turn on.
PMbus is available on S17 & S19 (SDA, SCL respectively).

Hello,

Thanks for posting this, much appreciated. I have 4 of these and have been looking for this for a while.
Do you know if it is possible to adjust the output voltage? 13.5V would be more useful than 12V.

Additionally, i was able to confirm this is also a direct form-fit-function (and pinout) match to the Delta Electronics DPA-750EB power supply.

Thanks for the data sheet info.  I was trying to find the remote sense pins. :-+
