Title: Please ID this SMD part
Post by: Peabody on December 19, 2024, 06:33:41 pm
I have a 6-pin SOT size chip marked as shown below.  I think it's a DC converter, but not sure which way.

Thanks for any clues.

LN2220

Next time, to make it easier for you, take the readings and identify the package.
Like:
smd SOT-23-5 AMB
And take a look on Google pictures.

You mean sot23-6... and here's a datasheet (https://www.gdzhianxin.com/uploadfile/file/20210812/1628760551208876.pdf) but the only one I could find is in Chinese.

Thanks very much.  Yes, I think that's it.  I've confirmed the circuit, and it's indeed a boost converter.  And with the feedback voltage at 0.6V, the divider resistors 75K and 10K make perfect sense.

When purchasing from Aliexpress, it's advisable to buy a module for initial testing. Acquiring individual ICs from such marketplaces can be unpredictable. I concluded this after encountering several devices that were irreparable due to faulty components. I lost money on it.
Buy it from LCSC if you want a good Chinese seller.

Best wishes.
