Altium simulation not working correctly?
« on: April 25, 2021, 12:07:06 am »
Hi,
(NOTE: I uploaded this in the Altium designer section too and tried to delete it but couldn't)

I use the latest Altium (updated a couple of days ago) and I was trying to simulate a circuit and not getting the results I expected.

So I simplified it over and over again until I got to a very basic resistors and capacitors circuit. And it still does not seem to work.

For example in the attached circuit, changing the resistor values of R1 and R2 (even by very large amounts) does not change the voltage Vin...

The sim setup gives "green" on all setup checks...

Attached is the full schematic/sim.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

R1 is 0.001 ohms.  Use "Meg".

SPICE is case-insensitive, so they had to hack it like this.  Else use floating point (1e6). :-+
