Hi all,
Just wanted to share a video I made for anyone interested in the topic of nixie tubes.
I was drawn towards the discipline of electrical engineering when I first discovered nixie tubes and wanted to make circuits with them. This inspired me to learn a lot about other electrical subjects and made learning fun with an awesome neon glow.
After years of collecting tubes and building nixie related projects, I felt that a lot of info regarding nixies was stratified in different and sometimes obscure places. The aim of this video is to shed light on the topic of nixie tubes by putting together pieces of info related to nixie tube history, how nixies work, different kinds of nixies, and how you can get nixies today.
Even if you aren't an engineer and are just wondering what the heck a nixie tube is, I might be able to answer that for you!
Enjoy!
