Power supply suggestion for Esp8266
« on: October 24, 2019, 01:53:13 am »
Hi,

I am currently thinking to create Apple HomeKit for my home. Accessories have esp8266 mcu on each board. But, I am really worried about their power supply units.

The accessories are briefly lamps, fans, locks, blinds etc. Their common ground is that they are small and light. So, I am thinking, maybe, I can supply each one with mobile phone charger. However, I have doubts about that. There is no enough isolation between AC and DC, output not too much stable. etc.

Have you ever tried to supply esp8266 via phone charger circuit for a long time? (probably iPhone charger or any other)
Or Do you have any suggestion to me about that issue?
