Dear all,
I am currently learning MPLAB X to program both PIC and ATMEGA. anyway is there any way to upload the code to ATMEGA328p since I searched the web to figure out but I came up empty handed
regards

Pretty sure that Pickit3 is for PICs only, it was developed well before Atmel became part of Microchip.

I did have some luck recently with a PICkit4 programming an ATTiny from MPLAB X, but it was reasonably hard work getting everything to work. In the end I went back to using Atmel Studio and an Atmel ICE, there are fewer unknowns that way. If you have to fight too hard with your debugging tools, IME you're probably better off taking a different approach.
