Title: PSU output circuit - whats the function?

Hello all,

I'm looking at the schematics of a smps design from TI (https://www.ti.com/seclit/df/tidrlm1a/tidrlm1a.pdf (https://www.ti.com/seclit/df/tidrlm1a/tidrlm1a.pdf)), but I cant figure out what the functionality of the highlighted section (see attachment) of the PSU is (page 2 of the schematics).

Can someone please give a quick explanation?
