BMS Testing balancer using resistive load and PSU
« on: March 13, 2022, 09:19:20 am »
Build an BMS which includes active balancing (the LTC3300), before attach real cells, I want to do some tests.

I just read the Manual for the Analog Devices Demo board: https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/user-guides/dc2100bfa.pdf

Does the PSU they are using (HMP4000) have some special feature like sinking current or protection to reverse current? I don't find any information about this on the PSU's datasheet.

I cant understand how the PSU is protected with this low value resistive load? I would expect some extra diodes an each positive output..
