SMT Spacers / Standoffs sturdy?

Hey All,

I wonder how study and robust SMT Spacers / Stadoff such as these: offered by Würth are? Are the susceptible to vibrations if the PCB is mounted on a moving platform?

I hope pretty well, as I use them in devices fitted to light aircraft and for holding a display on in a handheld device.
Probably close to 10,000 out there now, and I've never had an issue.

I use the M3 threaded SMT posts in 5mm, 6mm, and 7mm lengths.

I don't know, I think you should drill a hole use the swage ones, or threaded.

I think the solder joint is very sturdy, it just depends on how much you trust the laminations and circuit board quality. That's not something easy to inspect IMO. At least like the right angle ones, the others are still sandwiched with a bolt so it does not matter too much.
