rail splitter for 2-wire loop powered
« on: December 06, 2019, 07:29:12 am »
I know how to split voltage using the ubiquitous TLE2426 and opamp. My challenge is splitting a loop powered supply employed in industry with a +24V supply. Any ideas?

Current looped powered means that there is a shunt voltage regulator at the load to control the voltage.  At that point any standard rail splitter circuit can be used.  Usually the rail splitting is done as part of the shunt voltage regulator.
