Hi Forum.
I am searching for video I swore I saw on Youtube a couple of years ago where an EMC expert (think it's MachOne EMC channel) takes these common DC/DC buck converters based on LM2596 you can find them plenty for a couple of bucks, and by reworking partially the PCB and adding some filtering capacitor at the input reduces significantly the conducted emission that he first measured.
It was a very interesting way for hands-on for such a topic.
I went through all my history of Youtube, saw all MachOne EMC channel but nothing.
Such a topic is also presented by Richtek here https://www.richtek.com/Design%20Support/Technical%20Document/AN045, another great article to sudy on.
Any help really appreciated.
Thank You all.
Regards

In my opinion,If you mean the cheap bought aliexp LM2596,And try to reduce EMI,The final effect is not satisfactory.
Because the cheap LM2596 is suitable for industrial or hobbyist use,And the PCB layout is not reasonable.
Adding filtering or filters does not fundamentally reduce EMI
