Hi,
I am using these triacs (the smaller opto-triac driving the large triac):
https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/MOC3052M-D.PDF
https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/datasheet/bc/c6/38/ee/88/59/49/0d/CD00002263.pdf/files/CD00002263.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.CD00002263.pdf
To switch a load of 250Vac into very large capacitors (3,000 uF) and peak currents of up to 13A.
The more I have been reading up about choosing snubbers values the more confusing it was getting. How do I select the following?
- Resistor's value (range?) ?
- Resistor's power
- Capacitor's value
- Capacitor's type (film etc). Does it need to be X or Y type?
Many thanks
