Sanity check for my battery pack board layout

Hi!
Not too long ago I was asking for advice in selecting a battery management/protection IC. In the end I settled for Maxim MAX17320. A bit more details on what the end goal is: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/selecting-a-battery-managment-ic-for-my-project/new/#new

But basically this is the smart battery pack board design for an old Sony aibo - small robot dog. Basically it's meant to replace battery packs that are no longer available.
The board is designed to work with two 18650 lithium cells. The maximum current that the robot can draw is about 2A. The board is designed to fit in the limited space available and is meant to be hand soldered. Most of the passive components are 0402 size (except the ones marked).

The design is based on these two Maxim examples and the info from the datasheet:

Does anyone see any issues with this board layout or schematic? Have I missed something? I am mostly worried about the upper right corner of the schematic and it's implementation because I am lacking some knowledge in how this is supposed to work exactly.
