If you can guarantee input voltage below 10v, you have MIC2299 or MIC2290 MIC2601 or MIC2605 will do up to 20v input, up to 40v output , 1.2 Mhz switching frequency ... MIC2606 if you feel you need 2 Mhz sw. freq. |

Mostly because you cannot be sure if they actually meet the claimed spec, or if they are made of genuine parts. Also, waaay too big. Switching frequency likely 200khz to 400khz only.
