Recommendation for a component stock database?
« on: June 29, 2022, 08:38:27 pm »
Hi everybody.

I am many of you know the situation: You order a part for a project or a repair and once it arrives you find out you had it all along, sitting in one of the 500 little drawers on your wall.
Well, I've been thinking about doing an inventory on my stock of IC's to end that.

Can anyone recommend a freeware/open source software that does just basic stock keeping? I would be preferring to install in on a NAS and access it through a browser.
If anyone is running something like that, I'd appreciate your input.

I use a simple text file with a list of parts. Works perfectly and does not need installation.

Looking at PartKeepr right now, but it's not playing nicely with my Synology NAS.
