Resources for designing a sensored BLDC ESC?
« on: December 20, 2024, 05:44:59 am »
I think it is about that time...  I am going to start researching how to design and build a sensored BLDC ESC.  I've been tinkering around on other stuff for the last couple of years now, trying to gain the experience to start this project.

I would like to use N channel mosfets on the high and the low side, I know P channel are generally used on the high side, but I would like to go with N channel. Also this should be able to handle 50-60A.  I need to have 2 different voltages that the motors can run at, 7.4V and 3.7V, the idea is to provide as close to a constant voltage as I can, as this device will be for motor testing.  But in the end, it is an ESC...

I would appreciate any resources to read and study up on.

Thanks in advance!
