Review on YiHua 878D
« on: May 09, 2019, 04:38:35 pm »
Hi,

I am planning to buy YiHua 878D 2 in 1 soldering rework station. Previously, I have used Hakko's FX-888D soldeing station and YiHua 858D rework station. This time I want to take an integrated one(multi-function) like 878D. Please let me get your review/comments on this product. Will it perform at-least parallel(or comparable) to the FX-888D & 858D?

TIA.

Regards,

I bought the 862D+ off of amazon. it's been pretty decent so far, but the supplied conical tip with the iron is garbage and dies quickly. I also had the magnetic switch in the hot air gun break but after replacing it with a high quality one everything has been buttery smooth. the main advantage is it's so cheap, you can't beat it in terms of value.

all yihua products are basically the same, with some marginal differences in the feature set which you can find on their website. what I said about the 862D+ holds true for the 878D as well. just check the feature set before you buy (862D+ is a better version and not that much more expensive than the 878D).
