RFID data transfer by using wireless communication
« on: July 18, 2019, 10:24:53 pm »
Hi folks,

I am starting a new RFID project. I have two RFID long distance readers, I would like to collect the data by using wireless communication. I was thinking to use LORA with a raspberry pi in order to keep the data in a local data base if something were wrong with synchronization data and avoid to lost IDs information. Also I was thinking in use wifi but I am not sure if this is recommended in a industrial environment.

I want something:
* sacalable
* robust for industry
* following standard industrial protocols for communication
* secure and reliable
* Lon Range RFID reader system that support all my before items.

My candidate reader is a Chinese device based in chip r2000 http://www.chafon.com/productdetails.aspx?pid=513

P.D. Sorry for my bad English.

Hey,

We also have long distance UHF RFID reader, you can check at https://www.infiniterfid.com/products/uhf-rfid-readers/4-port-fixed-uhf-rfid-reader/

By the way, i just wonder if you have already bought the reader to use for your project now?

Thanks,
