Saab AUX Input
(1/1)
ScottG:
Over on Saab Central i started a discussion about how to make an unit that would emulate a CD changer in my car(An 2004 Saab 9-5 Arc). With that, a blogspot called BlueSaab was one designer of the unit. I built his unit and want to add on a bit.... by putting a bluetooth chip that would connect to my phone, rather than the 3.5mm jack* an cable would plugin to. From what i can gather, an Roving Networks RN-52 would get the job done. my problem: I've never designed a PCB in my life :-DD. I can solder rather well, Not an issue. I do think the unit is set up for an IPod 30 pin connector, there may be a way to exploit that to utilize the steering wheel controls :-DD.
So: May you glorious people help? From what i can gather: the board i built is based around an Arduino AtMega 328, and runs with 5v. it has 5 IC's, one of them is a voltage regulator?
Sorry for the abnormally large pictures, cant resize them..

First unit built. *Note that the jack is no longer there, had to hard solder the cable as to much heat got to it attempting to fix the cold solder joints.
Someone Else's unit:
AND The most important items: The PCB and Schematic. I do have the Eagle files, please PM me if you would like them!
The silk screen IS out of date, so you know. one of the voltage regs is different.
