EEVBLOG #569 switchs
« on: March 07, 2015, 03:10:31 pm »
Hello, i am working on something and was looking for a push button and I found them except I did not ( I don’t know the part number).  In EEVBLOG #569 at 7:18 there is the "HPA-4387 AUTO CONTROL" what are the push buttons on it, it dos not have to be the specific button just the same style.
thanks,
Michael Montreuil

Those look like the kind of pushbutton that has a removable cap. You can unsnap the cap and insert a custom label. They can be made with illumination. NKK is one company that makes this style of pushbutton. Here is a data sheet that has a few that are very similar to the ones in that video. You may have to do a lot of searching to find exactly what you want. You generally buy the cap and body as two separate parts, and this type of switch tends to be pretty expensive.
