| Screwed up pfet SOT-23 design. Swapped Source and Drain |
| (1/1) |
| Ribster:
Hey everybody. So what the title describes. I've swapped pin 2 and 3 of a SOT-23 pFET. Respinning my boards would be a bit of a shame and wastefull. I'm looking at some P MOSFETs that are like this: 1- GATE, 2 - DRAIN, 3 - SOURCE. I've really screwed the pooch, since i now see that every one of them is DRAIN on pin 3... :palm: Suggestions ? |

If you have just a few, turn over the part and bend the leads down. It'll be cocked at an angle. An N-FET wouldn't short out the path, but you'd have to figure out some way to invert (and most likely boost) the gate voltage, which will be a tall order in most circuits. Tim |

Depends on how your pads are arranged/shaped, a different package (SC-70 for example) might fit as is. |

I just made 12 boards, and i want them to be ready for a client. --- Quote from: Someone on December 21, 2019, 12:06:05 am ---Depends on how your pads are arranged/shaped, a different package (SC-70 for example) might fit as is. --- End quote --- Thanks! I’ll have a look for SC-70 pinouts |
