Title: Send data from MCU to smartphone using RFID/NFC

Hey All,

I'm looking for the simplest way to send data from a MCU to smartphone using NFC/RFID. I want the data to appear as text tag on the smartphone (NDEF text), so it can be read on the smartphone without requiring an app. I'm currently considering NTAG 5 Boost because it requires small antenna size.

If anyone has any better suggestion I would really appreciate it.

Yes this chip looks pretty nice for that. You can otherwise consider the ST25DV series from ST. Similar. Cheaper. There are small breakout boards available for cheap for the latter, if you want to evaluate them before making a decision.
