Simple available GPS + cellular module

Hi all,

I am developing a product where we have need for a GPS tracking via LTE (or possibly NB-IoT, if that would help).

Preferably we would have just one module with AT commands / UART or similar.

I am wondering if any of you have experience with modules like this, and can recommend some (or recommend which ones are trash) -> also with regards to availability, which is killing everyone these days...

Buy a low cost android mobile phone. Rip apart the screen and the casing and the battery. What you have left with is a GPS tracker with LTE. You can write your own linux program on it.

Get a separate NMEA GPS module and a SIM900 or similar module.

For all that stuff $64.90 isn't totally unreasonable.
