Hi there I am trying too get into circuits, and I have a project I want to build. What I am trying to achieve is make either a simple relay or simple IC/transistor circuit that has primary function of being an alarm in the form of a buzzer and LED that must be acknowledged and reset by a button press. it has too be a 12 Volt circuit and cheap. How I want it too work as follows there are too rooms that I want too have a simple alert and acknowledgment circuit using a buzzer and an LED, In each room there is an operator who has too press a button, Button 1 in Room A starts the circuit. Button 2 in Room B acknowledges the buzzer and LED and resets the circuit. But button 2 cannot start the circuit likewise button 1 cannot reset the circuit. This is very similar to the disabled toilet alarm but it is not for that otherwise I would buy a kit for that. 12Volts and cheap. I appreciate any help. Have a nice day Many Thanks Jamie Newman |

You need a latching relay circuit. |
