SMD board for prototyping & testing
(1/1)
Aluminio:
Does anybody know where to buy the boards that Dave uses for testing SMD components (see Blog 134 at 6:45)?
It looks that you can mount losts of different smd footprints.
Dave, If you make them yourself, can you sell them on your store?
Regards to all,
Aluminio

Jon Chandler:
Microchip has some really nice boards for general-purpose prototyping. These boards allow adding pullup, pulldown or series components to each pin.
8-Pin SOIC/MSOP/TSSOP/DIP Evaluation Board
20-Pin TSSOP and SSOP Evaluation Board
14-pin SOIC/TSSOP/DIP Evaluation Board
At first the prices don't look that good...until you realize that the price is for a 5-pack of boards. The first 2 are $10, the 3rd is $20 for a 5-pack.

If you just want to attach to a chip/use it in a breadboard, these are fantastic

I use these all the time at work, you can get them for most chips, have used them for 144 pin flat packs.
