SMD component ID Help
(1/1)
NikkiC:
Hello,
I am trying to identify SMD components.
* SOT-23-3 marked as "JCSL". Component tester reports this as a N-JFET
* SOT-23-3 marked as "SP L". Component tester reports this as a P-E MOS Please refer to the attached photos. Would like to know what the actual components are if possible so as to get their datasheets. Since I don't have to do this often (thankfully), I am finding that SMD component identification is a mine field . Can anyone offer any help?
TIA, Nikki

SP could be BSS84 but the other one I have no idea.

You have almost solved it yourself
In many cases the last 2 digits or code is date and or location made so just try the 1st letters.
JC = STK569, NCh Jfet.

SP = P CH mosfet BSS84 though I'm not so sure. The codes don't appear to match.

Cross check with SMD code books...

Probably the best site is (as suggested by Dave):
https://alltransistors.com/smd-search.php
Only you can decipher and decide but these will help. From what I can see the JC is that mosfet mentioned though not so sure about the code SP.

Actually they do match. https://datasheet.octopart.com/BSS84-ON-Semiconductor-datasheet-95952793.pdf
Thank you!. That info has really helped.
