Title: SMPS Transformer
Post by: safarir on June 28, 2010, 12:08:38 am
Hi everyone,

I plan on building a simple and small off-line power supply using the NCP101X serie of chip. A read a lot of app note but I am stock at the transformer.

I know exactly the specification of the transformer I need but I can't figure out where to find one/how to build one. I know nearly nothing about transformer and I am looking for great ressource about the subject.

Thanks a lot

Voltage and current, primary and secondary, working frequency ?

You can easily steal one from a dead PSU and rewind it for a start.
