Highlighting nets in Eagle layout
« on: December 17, 2012, 08:28:42 am »
Hi All, I'm a beginner in Eagle layout. I want to highlight nets in different colors. And also want to apply various design rules for different nets like different trace widths for different nets. Plz help me.

Last time i checked, yes, it was all in the manual. But who know, may have changed during the past 10+ years ;)

Greetings,

AFAIK, you can only have Nets in the "Nets" layer, so you're probably restricted to one color.
You can vary the width manually, of course.
Automatically changing the width of a net, or overlaying it with an additional line on another layer, based on network name, ought to be well within the capabilities of an eagle "User Language Program"
