Any cheap source for "as complete as possible" for E96, 1%, value-step from 10 ohm to 976 kohms? 96 values per decade.
For imperial 0603 and imperial 0402?
So far haave seen, seems Aliexpress has best 400 value-steps covering the range, meaning it is sometime on E24, sometime E48 and sometime E96 value-stepping.
Ideally, it will be
1. Each E24/48/96 value from 1-9.76 ohm
2. Each E96 value from 10-97.6 ohm
3. Each E96 value from 100-976 ohm
4. Each E96 value from 1K-9.76Kohm
5. Each E96 value from 10K-97.6Kohm
6. Each E96 value from 100K-976Kohm
7. Each E24/48/96 value from 1M-9.76Mohm
Mouser has someting that is near compelte buy very high price.

I can only advise to purchase one of those Aliexpress "full" kits. If you need other values, buy them (rarely necessary), but you will find out you need to refill some common values often.

Buy these https://aliexpress.com/item/1005005047731777.html and order resistors separately at place that offers good price for low quantities, for example at LCSC.

Pre-populated books with various SMD package sizes and ranges, empty binders and extra pages are all available very cheaply from AliExpress.
The thing I dislike with this binder style is that the pages don't have separate pockets for labels. The complete kits I got had printed labels glued to the pages -- some have started to come off, but there is not really a better way to attach them beyond trying different glue.

They have separate pockets for labels.
