I am looking for a recommendation on a full dual function generator that is sold as reasonable lab equipment to plagiarize the analog front end of.

I need a function generator that can go up to 5-15MHz and has dual outputs.

I basically need a lab tool that can phase shift two sine/triangle waveforms (and have all the FG adjustments). But this lab tool would be used infrequently. I figure so long I don't want to pay for the bells and whistles I can make the analog front end fairly cheap (for a machine that normally costs 2000$+) and then program a micro controller to configure the DDS chip, I just need to test a  few patterns.

I assume that rigol uses one of those AD dds chips, I just want a tried and true build around them with no guess work. I don't want to design a function gen, but I need this capability to test another project and determine if its needed in another project.

Someone beat you to it:

There are cheaper versions with a lower maximum frequency.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

oh yea, I would like 0.1 degree or better phase shift resolution. i sent the guy on ebay a PM to find out what the resolution of that unit is.

1 degree wont cut the mcustard here.
