Title: Spice to Simulink?
Post by: Agrum on May 29, 2020, 04:18:39 pm
Hello,

I hope that I'm in the right section.
I would like to know if there is a simple way to transform a LTspice model into Simulink.
I'm very new to Simulink.

Thanks

There seems to be way to convert SPICE to simulink
https://se.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/ug/converting-a-spice-netlist-to-simscape-blocks.html
But if you are talking ltspice macromodels (IC:s and stuff) you are likely out of luck

I would recommend to look into component datasheet and device block diagram and recreate relevant parts in simulink. Not "simple" but not exceedingly hard either

It depends a lot on what you're trying to do.  For power SimPowerSystems or PLECS (https://www.plexim.com/plecs) are quite good.

For signal analysis, I'm not really sure.  The 'typical' Simulink approach would be to model the parts (likely in reduced detail) with Simulink blocks.

I use PLECS all the time.  They have models for power electronic components.  You can even include C programing in blocks.  Also does thermal and magnetic simulation as components.
