Hi alll,i build a lot of things manhattan style,ie glueing bits of copperclad to another board, just thinking is there a downloadable pattern for tonner transfer to create copper islands onto a pcb, sort of like a bunch of say 5mm squares with a 2mm gap?

m3vuv:
i know that i wanted something to print and iron on,thats the whole point of this post, cheers anyway.

coppercone2:
for something that simple you might be able to use a sharpie and ruler

Go here and download this free software: https://www.expresspcb.com/
Download the "classic" version.
It is super super easy to use...learning curve maybe 10 minutes...prolly less.
I have been using it for years to make toner transfer PCBs.
The tool is designed to allow you to upload to their PCB mfg service, but it also lets you print to your laserjet, dimensionally accurate.

This example shows double sided, but I do not make double-sided pcbs, so these are done with wires.
