5V design what do you use for i2c pullup resistors?

It seems like I've used 1K or 2K, but not sure which is best, or something else - what do you use?

Best is going to be application dependent. My default values for 400 kHz or less on a PCB are 4k7 for 5V and 2k2 for 3V3.
