I'm looking at an ADC, specifically TI's ADS126X series (
http://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/ads1263), and I'm trying to decide between the ADS1262 and the ADS1263. The only difference I can see is that the 1263 has an "Auxiliary ADC". This ADC is 24-bit compared to the normal 32-bit resolution on the normal channels. What is an Auxiliary ADC and why would I want one?
