Title: Switches
Post by: Jazzyrick on February 26, 2024, 12:46:26 am
I'm working on a timer of sorts...just design as I am not an engineer. Here's the premise.

Picture a LCD watch/timer, but mounted to a hard surface. Basically I'm looking for a switch/mechanism to activate momentarily when you press the entire watch/timer. Is this a specific type of switch that exists or more than likely there are many ways to skin this cat?

Preferably as low a profile as possible and with some tactile feedback...like a click sound, but looking for all ideas.

3d print a mount for your timer that is hinged to a base, sits atop a microswitch (with appropriate extra spring to compensate for weight - though may not be needed)?
