Greetings people,
Has anyone come across *electronic system level simulation software in which one can do ideal component/building block level mixed signal simulation (similar to the diagrammatic building block style representation found in IC diagrams- say LTC3105 block diagram for example) easily?
* I use mainly Simulink, alongside PLECS, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, LTspice at the moment for system level simulation.
SIMPLIS has a System-Designer which has components like ADCs DACs etc. but not a complete solution.
I am no software guy, guess its not impossible to write a software ;D
any comments appreciated..

Not completely sure what exactly you want to do. System-level simulation is a pretty generic term, and there's a lot you can do with something like Simulink already.
If what you mostly need is to use reusable "blocks", but a mixed-signal simulator is OK, you can always create hierarchical blocks, that's something you can do with LTSpice, and many others. Using arbitrary voltage sources and current sources, there's a lot you can simulate that is not actually electrical, too.
For something else, that can typically be used for "system-level" simulation, you could take a look at Modelica: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modelica
