Scroll to 10th picture, I don't think there's need for any comments  |O

I can't believe they can charge this much AND give warranty for gear killed by this strip if such things is getting past their QC.

Yuck that's some nasty stuff. I have a few APC surge suppressors. Luckily my lab is powered from a Tripp-lite Isobar Ultra!

This is part of the MBA Playbook.

The money they lose from a little bit of bad will, a few apologies, and a smattering of damage control is far less than it would cost to establish and enforce quality. (or so they think.) The words "pride" and "competence" are not in the MBA Playbook.

too have some APC UPS units, although my PCs are all on Cyberpower APFC units because of the much better waveform; even my hypersensitive SG-650 is happy with those (it will cut out on an APC UPS).

Compare the creepage on the coax filter board vs mains filter board.  Why not use large on both?  Are they not both supposed to both protect against HV spikes?  I'm assuming it's "we had to" for mains compliance, but no one cared/noticed for the coax board.
