My searching so far for the following three part numbers (they have no identifying logo) hasn't yielded any datasheet/catalog info yet.

PMI416
PMI418
PMI434

Working on a circuit module from mid 1990s that includes three SOIC14 packaged devices (that based on the circuit function might have been quad op amps - I have neither a block diagram nor schematic of the module.

Although the part numbers suggest manufactured by PMI (pacific monolitics) which was acquired by Analog Devices in about 1990, the latest PMI data catalog I found online (ca. 1986-1987) does not include any parts with PMI- prefix (they do have parts with PM- prefix). The circuit module is part of a Hewlett Packard signal source (used in a vector network analyzer); the circuit makes use of another part number (OP27) which *was* a PMI part number and is a Burr Brown (ADI) part number, and TL027C which is a TI part number.) Burr Brown and TI both existed in the era during which the circuit module was made (early-mid 1990s.)

I also have tried this - a google search (for each of the three base part numbers) worded like this "operational amplifier with 416 in the part number" (same for 418, 434). Although I'm not certain these are operational amplifiers, the circuit does contain two known op amps (OP27 and TL072) so it seems plausible. Those searches yielded PMI416~MAX4164, PMI418~MAX418, PMI434~OPA4343.  Having no schematic of the module (I'm seeking to derive one), these part numbers seem plausible, but making this posting with idea that someone reading this may have advice on how to map the three part numbers to something equivalent (or at least similar...)

Thanks for any advice, comments, and of course welcome any request to clarify statement of problem.

Dave

Just a guess....maybe those parts were made by Precision Monolithics?  Apparently they were acquired by Analog Devices.

I lived in Silicon Valley in the mid 1970s and I think that my bike commute passed by their facility.

Figured it was probably PMI, but I'd not seen any PMI-xxx part numbers mentioned anywhere, so that's where the root-part-number-digit search came in...

(yes, it appears Analog Devices has been "hoovering up" so many companies and their heritage gets the black-hole treatment, I'm afraid...)
