Hi everyone, does anyone know of a modern, in-production replacement for WM8978 and UDA1380?

I'm looking for a 3.3V-powered I2S stereo codec (ADC/DAC) that has the capless headphone amp feature, and that's not BGA (regular SMD preferred).

WM8962B is the only in-production chip I know of, but I'd rather avoid BGA if I can (this one is my last resort).

Searching more deeply, I found these TI candidates:
  • TLV320AIC3104
  • TAC5142
  • TLV320AIC3105

But none of them are widely used for open-source projects. Sure, getting a codec to work through I2S isn't rocket science, but it'd be nice to have a chip that has examples I can easily use.

Got any suggestions?
