Two way audio headset

I am working on a intercom for two way communication in racing.
Currently I have a master and pit crew parts done. They are attached below. The master interfaces with the car to get control signals form the steering wheel and tell the Telemetry system when a pit crew pack has requested a time stamp. (for marking the record for events)
The driver was going to just have a simple skr and mic in the helmet. With a amp in the master unit. But the driver wanted it wireless. It allows him to get out of the car quicker if there was an issue.
Does anyone recommend a short range wireless two way audio IC's?
