Title: TPS7A8300ARGR ANY-OUT operation output voltage setting issue
Post by: madhu.wesly01 on October 08, 2018, 05:42:42 am
Hi,

I am using the following(find the web-link below) LDO in my application. The LDO allows two ways to set output voltage: 1. using External resistors and 2. ANY-OUT programming pins(6 pins). I have implemented ANY-OUT operation on my PCB, no external resistor divider circuit.

ANY-OUT programming is set by equation: Vout = V(NR/SS) + (the accumulated sum of the respective voltages assigned to each active(connecting to GND) pin).

By leaving all program pins open, floating, or Grounding, the output is thereby programmed to the minimum possible output voltage equal to V FB.

The problem is: I am getting the minimum voltage only i.e the accumulated sum of the respective voltages assigned to each active(connecting to GND) pin. The V NR/SS which should be equivalent to 0.8V is not getting added to the final output voltage??? It is showing 0V at NR/SS pin.

Please let me know if anyone have any pointers on this??
