Monitoring mains voltage with an IC?
« on: July 15, 2015, 11:05:18 pm »
That is what I am looking to do, but I have yet to find someone that has done it.

I see a few chips for DMMs but not a lot of them.  Ideally I would like the input range to be up to 600Vac RMS   The IC needs to feed a value to a micro controller that will do the rest.

Any suggestions?

(Will be used in remote generator monitoring system)

Thanks  :-+

ADE7953 is one example.

I have done a project with it

it is a really nice ic and can do much more than just give you the mains voltage.
