Transmitting your own music through neighbours car speakers
« on: January 14, 2017, 04:15:30 am »
Hey guys I have a radical favour to ask your help with. So I want to build this thing from a life hacker article that can transmit your own music through a neighbours car stereo speakers, and potentially blow the speakers altogether (sounds amusing but maybe not going that far).

So basically you need a cheap CB radio, a linear amp, a bottom loaded CB antenna (cause it's easier buildin a ground plate for it) and lastly a signal generator (not sure what this is, the guy who wrote the article was saying how he ran a continuous 6khz signal which eventually blew up the neighbours cat speakers.

Is there any of you guys who live right here in Perth who could help me to build this thing? Well firstly is it actually possible and doable in a realistic practical way? and preferably getting the necessary parts for as cheap as possible or unless you already have the parts, I can pay you back however much it costs to build this thing and/or Personal Training sessions and Hypnotherapy sessions to help you achieve your fitness goals and mindset goals faster and easier.

Genuinely I really appreciate your help guys, my best mobile number to txt me on directly is 0414 481 987. Thanks heaps champion,

Dave

Why should we help you vandalize your neighbour's carstereo?

Indeed.

The only purpose for building anything like what you have described would be for destructive purposes.

You aren't going to get a listenable music solution short of breaking into the vehicle and tapping into the audio path... and that's not something I'd be interested in helping you with.

not to mention the department of communication kicking your doors in , the only way to realize what you want to do would cause so much rfi that ive seen such a thing black out the TV's in the neighbourhood, I was only a young fella at the time and it wasn't intentional. sorry Newcastle. :palm:

oh duh for gods sake, your article writer was an idiot, you buy a 5$ FM transmitter and plug it into your source of choice and then wonder why it didn't work. You can't contro the volume of the sound with the transmission.

A whole city, I only managed the immediate neighbours TVs.  I was very loud on the next doors cheap 3in1 hifi they used as a kitchen radio... But the man of the house was an ex Radio Officer and I think he eventually added some ferrite rings to the speaker cables.

There is story from the 80s of one Dublin pirate radio station MW transmitters drifting off frequency in a snow storm and wiping out BBC Scotland across half of the UK.

Personal Training sessions and Hypnotherapy sessions to help you achieve your fitness goals and mindset goals

The basic concept is a VERY bad idea. If you did it, you would be potentially in trouble with the Police and/or your neighbour(s).

Since you have brought up about "mindset goals".

Surely you can change your "mindset", so that you can get on with your neighbour and/or ask them nicely to turn the volume down when they are near your/their home (I assume that is what this is about) and/or learn to tolerate other people.

Failing that, sit in front of a mirror and talk yourself out of this "problem", by correcting your "mindset". Using your skills as a trainer for "mindset goals".

Why give CB a bad name?
It's easier to buy a 60$ sound level meter, switch
To "C" weighting, document the loudness with a
With a cell phone pic, and take it to your local government.
You'll need to do a few months of documenting to establish a pattern of behavior.

Trust me, you do not want to come across to your neighbors
As the nutty nerd  that tried  a childish attempt at jamming.

Looking in the mirror is a very good idea!

You even signed your full name on the post, showing intent, which gives the prosecuter Mens Rea when they charge You.

Look in the mirror!

Steve
