I've recently reinvigorated my interest in dabbling with repairing faulty Nintendo Switch consoles purchased from Ebay.
My success rate is pretty good but in some cases I'm having great difficulty in identifying suitable replacements for some of the passive components, also some connectors. I'm alright with the actual reflow work - okay, it's fiddly, but I'm learning fast.
The caps are variable sizes, the resistors are mostly about half a millimetre in length and values vary - 100K, 200K, and so on.
Nintendo naturally don't release parts lists or schematics (I'd be surprised if they did!) so it's a case of knuckling down and seeing what I can identify.
If I was to provide pointers to some decent photos of the motherboard would anyone be able to help me locate some of the FFC connectors please? There's also a connector for the battery which I can't identify (unless of course it's unique to the Switch), the connector can be seen in the top left corner of this photo -

Thanks in anticipation of any advice or pointers.

If you look close, like reeeeaaaaal close, often there is a small manufacturer's logo stamped on the connectors.

Thanks. Just tried that with a 30x magnifier and I see that there are numbers and letters on two of the tabs for the 4-pin FFC connectors - even though both connectors appear identical one has on it -
A3 MK1 (yet the same part on another board is marked A4 MK1)
the other is
A7 MK1 (the same part on another board is marked A2 MK1)
Does that help at all? :)
One of the longer FFC connectors (27 pins I think) has MX 1 (or MX I ) in one of the recesses
Here's one of the medium sized connectors (used for the rails that the Joy-Con controllers connect to) -
