Help finding 230v equivalent to 110v magnetic ballast

Hi!
I have a LUXO Wave ESD magnifying lamp that runs off 110VAC. I want to convert it to 230VAC. It uses two TDC p class reactor ballasts (DBA-15P) rated for 13W, 0,3A. I have been searching high and low for a 230v version, without luck. They need to be the same form factor/size. Anyone know where I can find them?

Get an ordinary CFL lamp with similar wattage, and rip out the electronic ballast and do some mod job. Probably it will be much smaller than that transformer.

Thank you for that input! Although its not quite what i wanted to hear, I can see that you have some experience on this topic. I would prefer get the correct ballasts online, but I guess that is looking to be difficult. Ill see if I can find some other LUXO CFL's around and check out their ballasts. Just knowing the manufacturer would make searching easier.

Look for a cheap UV money checker, they do have the right ballast form factor in them. Alternatively just buy a mains transformer of the same size or slightly bigger that still fits the housing and use the primary winding as the ballast, leaving the secondaries unconnected. The magnetising current will be about right for this lamp.
