3D pov display Full Design
« on: June 14, 2013, 07:29:48 am »
Hello everybody

I feel my design is ready for the insanity check, so could you please read over it and point out anything I may have missed?

Here is the document explaining my design.

Thanks, this will help my school project a lot.

Well I've gone and added a whole lot of comments, which I know you have seen.  :-+

Things that I would look at, is the PCB trace width, and definitely loose those right angle connections on the top layer. This will aid in manufacturing.

Can you also add images as to what you plan the visual output would look like?

<Baljem> hey, you're the one who apparently pronounces FPGA 'fuhpugger'

Oh yes the crime of 90deg traces, I ensured to avoid that when I was drawing the larger base of the traces. But when I used auto rought to get the top layers started, I forgot to change the settings and never got around to fixing it.

Thanks for actually commenting what you were thinking, you have been the only one so far. Its surprising  because there has be a large amount of people viewing it.

I didn't expect so many people to be interested, I'm just a beginner. It was only about a year ago I was asking what a transistor is.

I made start of the year ( first  processing program go easy), in some parts it shows a set-up similar to what I will have.

I've added quite bit of comments purely aimed at how document structure, lay-out etc. Lately I've been drilled how to write good reports, since we engineers somehow lack the skill, or better the will to do so. An example is to number every figure and give it a meaningful name. This prevents you as writer to just place a picture without reason to do so. Hopefully I won't come across as critical, and it'll benefit in the end.

Good luck!
