Title: Ultra wide input AC/DC 7.5W convertor
Post by: ali_asadzadeh on December 06, 2018, 12:29:40 pm
Hi,
I have designed several flyback converters mainly based on power Integration parts, Know for some project I need a 5V 1.5A SMPS with the input in the range of 15V-265V AC, I have seen this app note from power Integration, but unfortunately it can only deliver 3W, also searching TI website I came across this UC3843 part, and it would design it! ;) But I want to know is the webench reliable?  Do you suggest any design approach?

Hi!

Did your power supply worked?
I am curious, why did you needed  that low input voltage?

I am working on a similar idea, but with 25 VAC to 250 VAC, I would like to know how it worked for you.

Thank you.
