| Up Down Buck converter recommendations |
| (1/1) |
| imk:
Hello, So i have a few projects on the go the require an up/down buck converter, one for example is a 12 volt power source for a telescope. Currently i power the scope from a 3S lipo or a 12v lead acid, problem is the voltage range is quite wide depending on battery state of charge. i shopped about a found a small up/down DC-DC buck/boost module AT30 off eb that seems to work fairly well for ~12v input 12v output. Although on varying loads the V out regulations seems poor varying as much as 0.8 V on varying load of 0A to 0.2A I would also like to use this AT30 or similar to drive logic and MC's 3.3/5v, but I find on power off from a 12v input the the output spikes so high it's going to kill logic.. So i googled about and found what seems like a much better up/down buck board the Dps3806 by MingHe but found a review that says it also has big over shoot issue on power down. Any recommendations please for a up/down buck board that i can use for a wide range of project eg 3v to 30v output from a most likely 12v battery source. Many thanks imk |
